The Trinity College Dublin Library is the largest research library in Ireland, housing collections dating back to the university’s foundation in the 16th-century. The most famous piece in the collection is the Book of Kells, a sacred manuscript of the Four Gospels of the New Testament, dating back to the ninth century.
